What is Building Services Engineering (BSE)?

BSE covers a multitude of different skills, which provide the essential services that allow buildings to operate - such as the heating and ventilating, air conditioning, refrigeration (HVACR) systems, plumbing and electrotechnical requirements.

Interested in helping the environment? BSE is too - installing micro-generation technologies, such as solar thermal hot water systems and wind turbines, are just some of the tasks carried out by installers working in this sector.

The sector offers a wide range of rewarding and interesting career options, from craft apprentice to technician and professional engineering levels.
