Plumber apprenticeship*

• Install hot and cold water services and wastes to outside drainage in domestic and commercial properties
• Develop specialist skills in installing baths, basins, sinks, toilets, washing machines, dish-washers and other domestic appliances
• The installation of domestic heating including boilers, radiators, pumps and electric controls. External work includes fixing rainwater pipes, gutters
• Develop skills using materials such as steel, copper, plastic and aluminium
• Work is carried out in domestic premises, factories, hospitals, schools and industrial buildings
