BEST have secured additional funding as part of a new government initiative aimed at removing barriers to apprenticeship recruitment. We are now able to offer qualifying employers in the Mechanical and Electrical sector throughout England extra funding in the form of an apprentice wage subsidy.
This new initiative is available to SME employers in the M&E sector who find apprenticeship recruitment in the current economic climate difficult to sustain. For new placements BEST are able to support the first year apprentice costs with a wage subsidy of £35.00 per week for the first 52 weeks of the apprenticeship programme.
Funding is limited to 200 new apprenticeships so if you would like to benefit from this initiative, please contact Bobby Randhawa on 01628 607815 / email: bobbyrandhawa@best-ltd.co.uk or click here to download the enquiry form:

Businesses will be given the power to design, develop and purchase the vocational training programme they need under a £250 million plan announced today by the Prime Minister. The move is designed to boost economic growth and ensure that the UK workforce has the skills that businesses require.
