Calling all employers! You are required by Best to attend Regional Training Group meetings within your area. These meetings are a great source of information and hugely beneficial to yourselves.
The RTG is an employer focused group organised and run by Best. These regional training groups operate in all areas of the UK and invite all HVCA, Best and Summit Skills members, employers and colleges. There are 12 regional training groups within the UK.
The main purpose of these meetings is to get all of the members together with employers and colleges, to keep everyone informed and updated with progress or changes from the last meetings. These meetings also give employers, colleges and other members the chance to express their concerns, views or comments and able them to receive a swift, quick response. The meetings also give employers a better understanding of how Best works and how we want the best for them, from their apprentices.
Topics such as Skills Cards, Apprentices, Regional Training Awards and Train to Gain are often discussed at the regional training group meetings.
The meetings take place within many areas in the UK, in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and throughout England. Below is a link which lists the core people that attend the meetings from Best, HVCA and Summit Skills, and also the RTG meeting locations within the UK.
