How does it work?

One of BEST's industry qualified assessors will visit your company to explain the programme and undertake a quick training needs analysis to identify the most beneficial training solution for your buiness.

For those experienced workers chosen to benefit from Skills Pay BEST will:

  • Undertake an assessment to gauge where their skill and knowledge levels are now
  • Identify any gaps in their knowledge or skills and draw up a plan to bridge these gaps, resulting in an NVQ relevant to their trade i.e. Heating & Ventilating

Once the appropriate NVQ has been identified, in the vast majority of cases, the entire process is carried out on site with no need to attend college.

Experienced workers can acheive their qualification in anything between 3 and 12 months, depending on their ability and committments*

*NVQ process usually takes around 24 months
