BEST Expands to Support Organisation Growth

Leading training provider BEST Ltd (Building Engineering Services Training) has announced the appointment of several new members of staff to their organisation over the last few months to support their continued growth.
Steve Smith joined BEST as South West Region training advisor in May with responsibility for learners within the Bristol and Gloucester areas.
Steve joins BEST having worked in training for seven years during which he has gained the experience and local knowledge to take on the specific challenges in the South West in the delivery of apprenticeships and advanced apprenticeships in the Electrical, Mechanical and Building Services Industries.

Carmen Moore joined BEST at the end of July as their new Marketing Officer taking on the responsibility of Marketing for the organisation. Carmen brings to BEST marketing experience supported by a degree in Journalism and membership of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
The marketing officer role is a newly created position at BEST, and one that Carmen enthuses she can be ‘successful at achieving great results and marketing incentives for BEST.’
Adrian Henry and Glenn Brough both joined BEST in September as technical assessors to work alongside the growing team assessors in expanding BEST’s work based qualification programmes and delivery schemes underpinned by a new national Train to Gain contract for BEST.
Adrian joins BEST with over 20 years industry experience having worked as a H&V service and installation engineer for most of his career before moving into training and college lecturing.
Glenn has 24 years experience within the plumbing trade, in a broad range of roles, most recently a lecturer in plumbing at New College Nottingham. Glenn describes his role at BEST as being one in which he ‘looks forward to the new challenges ahead developing within the role.’
