BEST Students win College Awards
Dec 08 2009
Two college students currently studying their apprenticeships through BEST (Building Engineering Services Training) have scoped awards at the Leeds College of Building Student Awards 2009.
The two award winners were Charlotte Soader of Johnson Controls who won the MCC Energy Shield in Service & Maintenance level 2 and Tom Sugden (formally of Sias) who won the Briggs & Burner Shield for Service & Maintenance level 3. The award event was held at Leeds Town Hall on the 26th November in front of family, friends and work colleagues.
Lynne Stafford, Training Adviser to both of the winners, commented on their success:
“Charlotte has come a long way and sets herself very high standards. These high standards have served her well. I think that she deserves the award for recognition of all the hard work and determination Charlotte has put in”
“Tom ‘has put in extra effort this year to achieve his level 3 qualification before target. Due to his hard work and extra effort, Tom completed a whole term early! Tom has exceptional interpersonal skills and is well liked by all he works with”
