BEST scores again at East of England Awards!

Dec 08 2010

This year's East of England Training Awards was held at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford.

This was the most memorable and successful event, initiated by the HVCA & BEST, who have now been joined by CIBSE & ECA. It was a pleasure to have Tom Neil, DFC, AFC as a guest speaker and he appreciated the efforts of the apprentices and their families and congratulated them on their success.

The awards are a great way of showcasing the young and up coming talent that the Building Services Engineering sector has to offer.

The winners were nominated by either their employer or their college and testimonies from the nominees, college tutors and employers, were provided. This year the high calibre of the nominees led to very competitive nominations.

The BEST winner was Wayne Jackson who is employed by Adcock Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Ltd. Was awarded the Practical Competence of the year award 2010.
