Leading apprenticeship provider for the building and engineering services industries BEST is now able to support employers taking on 16-24 year old apprentices for the first time, or after a lapse in recruitment, with a grant of £1,500 for each apprentice taken on. This follows confirmation that government has agreed a package of reforms for the Apprenticeship Grant for Employers (AGE 16-24) scheme. The AGE scheme has been drawn up to encourage employers to take on apprentices for the first time or after a lapse in recruitment and is available to any employer of less than 1000 employees that has not employed an apprentice in the last 12 months

In the FE Choices independent government survey, employers scored BEST a 7.6 out of 10 satisfaction rating compared with JTL’s 4.9 rating. BEST also scored an impressive 8.6 out of 10 for learner satisfaction, beating many leading education and training providers in the list.
